What are polyphenols?

Polyphenols are the most powerful natural antioxidants, the health benefits of which are continuously examined and discovered. Polyphenols have multiple benefits: they preserve beauty and youthful skin appearance, help with digestion and regulate body weight, improve your mood, reduce inflammations, help with preventing diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

Approximately 8,000 polyphenolic molecules are known to this date. All polyphenols are classified into four different groups: phenolic acid, flavonoids, stilbenes and lignans. According to their action mechanism, all polyphenols are primarily antioxidants, but among them, there are also groups characterized by powerful antioxidant properties and are thus classified as significant actors against oxidation and inflammation:

The latest scientific findings show that polyphenolic compounds participate in the process of regeneration and recovery of vitamin C and enable its restoration to the form capable of the so-called capture of free radicals.
